May is Mental Health Awareness Month

May is Mental Health Awareness Month! Let’s use this time to acknowledge the importance of mental well-being and break down stigmas surrounding mental health. Just like our physical health, our mental health deserves attention and care. Many of us experience stress, anxiety, or feelings of overwhelm at times. It’s important to remember that you’re not alone, and help is available.

Our Senior Director of Behavioral Health, Matthew Holtsclaw

At Primary Health Network, we’re committed to providing accessible mental health services to our community. We offer individual therapy and to support individuals of all ages and backgrounds on their journey toward mental wellness.

Here is what you can to better prioritize your Mental Health:

  • Prioritize self-care. Make time for activities that help you manage stress and improve your mood, such as exercise, spending time in nature, or connecting with loved ones.

  • Learn the signs of mental health concerns. Familiarize yourself with typical symptoms of anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions.

  • Seek help with confidence. We understand that seeking professional support for yourself or a loved one can be daunting. But it’s also a courageous sign of strength and self-awareness. Our team of behavioral health professionals is here to support you on your journey toward wellness.

Let’s create a community that not only prioritizes mental wellness but also actively supports it.
