Join us on March 7th for the 12th annual Shamrock ‘N Run, a 5K Run/Walk hosted by the PHN Charitable Foundation. Whether you’re a regular runner or just want to take a walk, everyone is invited. This year, we’re moving to the Sharon American Legion Post #299. It’s a new location, but the same Shamrock fun!
When you join this year’s Shamrock ‘N Run, you’re doing more than just running. You’re helping make a difference and creating memories with others. Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and enjoy the sense of community at this special event.

We are also accepting registration on the day of the event between 9:30 and 10:15 am at the Sharon American Legion Post #299. Shamrock ‘N Run Registration Options
5K Option
This option is for those who want to run the whole race. Only 5K Run participants will receive a timing chip.
Competition Details
- The top five times from each team will count toward the team prize.
- Individual times will be used for age group awards and overall rankings.
Just Walk Option
This option is for those who want a relaxed walk and to enjoy the event without being timed. It’s a great way to walk with family and friends while supporting PHNCF.
Breakfast Only Option
Enjoy the “Oranges & Greens Breakfast of Champions” buffet and entertainment without racing!

Sign up for the Shamrock ‘N Run by February 6th to make sure you get a race t-shirt in your size. If you register after that, we’ll try to get you the right size, but options may be limited because shirts are pre-ordered. Register early to save your spot and get the shirt you want.

Post Race Celebration
Once you finish the 5k or Just Walk, the fun isn’t over yet. Come join us at the Sharon American Legion Post 299 for a full breakfast buffet, an awards ceremony, and live entertainment.
Returning Favorites
Team Challenge: You can create or join a team for a chance to win prizes for the fastest team and the most creative team name.
Prizes & Awards: The top three finishers in each age group for both men and women will receive awards. There will also be grand prizes for the fastest male and fastest female overall.
Costume Contest: Put on your most festive outfit for a chance to win the best dressed award!
What’s New for 2026
New Location: We have a new location this year at Sharon American Legion Post 299, and the route will take us through the beautiful Buhl Park.
Pot of Gold Raffle: You can buy Pot of Gold Raffle tickets at the event for a chance to win a big prize package.

Pets at the Shamrock ‘N Run
We welcome you to bring your pets for the 5K or walk, but please be aware that pets are not allowed inside the Sharon American Legion Post 299 at any time. Service animals are always welcome.
