On January 23, 2013, the much anticipated Primary Health Network’s Clarion Dental Center opened their practice. It is located on the 2nd floor of the new facility built within the Trinity Point Development Center, located directly off Interstate 80. New patients are now being accepted. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Services offered will include dental check-ups, cleanings, crowns, dentures, partials, limited endodontics and x-rays. Please call the office at 1-814-223-9906 for additional information or to schedule an appointment.
Currently, John Reed, DMD, will be seeing patients. Dr. Reed has been with PHN since 2010. He earned his dental degree from The University of Pittsburgh Dental School and completed his residency at Michael Reese Medical Center in Chicago, IL.
Clarion Dental Center is excited to introduce Jeanne Yang, DDS, who will be providing full-time dental services beginning February 18, 2013. Dr. Yang graduated in 2005 from State University of New York at Buffalo with her degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery with a minor in Pediatric Dentistry. She then completed her residency in General Dentistry at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2006.
Other offices in this facility include: Clarion Community Health Center offering primary care under the supervision of Dr. Ronni Lencer, D.O.; Clarion Behavioral Health, an outpatient office tentatively scheduled to open March 2013, will offer Psychiatry and counseling services for all ages; ARC Manor, a drug and alcohol addiction agency; Clarion Hospital laboratory and pediatric office services; Watusi Coffee Company, an on-site café; and Clarion Pharmacy offering 340B Pricing. PHN patients will be able to take advantage of the federally funded 340B Drug Pricing Program, which enables those that qualify to purchase their prescriptions at reduced costs.
In conjunction with Clarion Community Health Center, Clarion Dental Center will be offering their patients access to an online portal. PHN patients can utilize this portal to access their health information, request medication refills, ask questions and make a payment for both their medical and dental needs. To improve quality of care, the Clarion offices will be using Electronic Health Records (EHR). EHR have been proven to increase patient safety, reduce medical errors, improve efficiency, simplify medication refills and reduce duplicate tests.
