Made available by Primary Health Network Charitable Foundation (PHNCF), “Provide The Ride” transportation program is a free service for PHN referred patients in the Shenango Valley (a section of Mercer County) and Lawrence County. PHNCF’s “Provide The Ride” program serves as a vital link between patients who have no affordable transportation to their primary care providers. Two obvious benefits have become apparent since the implementation of this program, fail to show rates for medical appointments have dropped drastically and new patients (who previously were not able to get needed medical care) have entered the system at the preventative rather than the reactive stage. PHNCF is committed to supporting a better quality of life by increasing access to health care, including early diagnostics, and the prevention of medical complications arising from delayed care. As a direct result, our neighbors and communities are healthier.
