Exercise Physiology

Exercise physiology is the basic study of the movements and coordination of all the body's parts and systems. The role of an exercise physiologist is to help individuals perform exercise in a safe manor, with regards to age, ability, and health related risks. Exercise physiologists can assist in the maintenance of health and fitness, rehabilitation of heart disease and other chronic diseases and/or disabilities, and professional guidance of athletes and others interested in athletics.
